The donor nobody owns in conservation and advocacy work is often the sustainer or campaign-moment donor who gave once during a specific fight and then went quiet, and the calendar rule, never ask a segment that has not been thanked or reported to since its last gift, matters especially here since campaign-driven donors are particularly sensitive to feeling used only when there is a new ask. An impact report works well tied to outcomes rather than the calendar, a campaign's resolution, a parcel's protection finalized, a policy fight's result, win or lose, since this track's donors give to outcomes and deserve to hear the outcome plainly. The recognition policy has to account for c3/c4 gift routing carefully, since a donor's name appearing on the wrong side of that line in a public listing could misrepresent what kind of gift they actually made.
